Cheshire West and Cheshire Council: Day Services for People with Learning Disabilities
Between 2004 and 2011 I ran a series of projects developing staff capacity to offer arts-based activities to day service users and finding new ways to promote service users’ integration into local communities.

Aspirations of participants in Day Centres for adults with moderate learning disabilities were expressed in artworks including posters and banners displayed at two user-led conferences developed through a partnership between Cheshire Arts and Health Authority.
In 2008 I worked with sound artist Andrew H and Day Centre staff to build flexible multisensory environments for service users: Sound and Space. On subsequent visits I helped develop other creative ways of working including large scale cyanotype prints using our bodies and other objects.
